Babies can be super hard to buy for, should you choose to buy them presents for Christmas… yeah, they won’t remember it, but they’ll enjoy the presents nonetheless so that’s all that matters, right?
Struggling for inspiration? Well, fear not; we’ve put together this list of our top Christmas baby buys!
Baby Bouncers
Bouncers are extremely popular with babies between the ages of 4-6 months, provided that they can support their own head and reach the floor on tiptoes (NOT flatfooted as this can cause hip issues, and NO cushions etc underneath due to the slipping risk) as per the instructions.
Tesco has a great range in stock; their Baby Einstein bouncer is currently reduced in the sale. This particular bouncer is extremely popular with the mums on our private group.
Sensory toys
Sensory toys are really good for auditory, visual and motor development.
I’ve found that Etsy is actually the best port of call for unique and stimulating sensory toys, they have some truly incredible toys and gizmos that you can’t buy in the shops!
‘Busy boards’ are a unique solution for smaller children who love sensory stimulation!
For babies who aren’t too mobile, teething toys can be a good way to introduce sensory stimulation. I love this hexagonal silicone teether; the colours are super pretty, and the geometric shapes give it an interesting texture for curious babies.
Miffy is a popular character for little ones! The Miffy Sensory Toy is available at Tesco right now – click the photo to see more. Be quick though, this item is in high demand!
Lamaze
Eeeeek, I love Lamaze! Their toys are excellent quality, extremely stimulating, and so durable. Tesco has a great range of Lamaze toys here, suitable for younger babies who are becoming increasingly curious in the world around them, and learning how to play!
Ball pits
Once baby is able to sit up, a ball bit full of colourful balls is an excellent way to get your baby playing! Rather than your bog standard pop up ball pit, soft jersey ball pits are becoming popular.
This Bright Starts 5 in 1 Activity Play Gym & Ball Pit is reduced from £80, to £53.30 at Tesco! It’s oh-so versatile and sure to provide maximum fun for all babies!
Cute Winter Clothing
Is there anything better in the winter than seeing your little one all cosy and snuggled up in warm winter clothing?

Walkers
Walkers are a wonderful idea for a Christmas present! If you have a small baby who isn’t yet at the stage of needing a walker, it’s good to get one for Christmas that they’ll start using at some point. Tesco has a wide range of amazing sit-in and push-along walkers…
The Little Tikes 3-In-1 Activity Baby Walker is £39.99 at Tesco, and suitable from the age of 9 months. It has so many dynamic features, such as a panel that can turn the Activity Walker into an interactive table. There’s a monkey slider, spinning toucan ball, colour beads, and over 70 songs & activities.
The Bright Starts Pattern Pals Baby Walker is reduced to £29.75 from £25.00 at Tesco! It is suitable up to a weight of 11kg (24lbs) and comes with a spinning frog bead chaser and loops that you can attach more toys too.
I hope that this guide has helped to inspire your Christmas shopping! What will YOU be buying your babies this year? Tell us in the comments.
Love from Katie. Xx
