Free and low-cost Mother’s Day Activity and Present ideas

We asked the mummies in our Facebook community for inspiration for free and low-cost activities and gifts, and were blown away with the fabulous suggestions.

• A picnic – if the weather is rubbish, you could do this at home! Prepare a spread of mama’s favourite foods, pack them into a hamper, and surprise her to a picnic with her loved ones.
• Find out where your nearest pottery workshop is, as they may do painting sessions for little ones. Your children could paint mugs or other ceramic goodies for mummy.
• Bake mummy some cakes or muffins with the kids.
• Create some artistic handprint or footprint paintings; you could use this for a Mother’s Day card too.
