Kids Birthday Freebies and Discounts

Were you hoping to take advantage of the Build-A-Bear pay your age offer to snag a birthday bargain for your child? The good news is, If like us you missed out in the chaos yesterday, the pay your age offer is actually available all year round! That is, providing you’re a Build-A-Bear Bonus Club member and buying during your child’s birthday month. It’s not a total kids birthday freebie but if you’re the parent of a toddler, it comes pretty close.

Build a Bear – Pay Your Age

The company  released a statement on their Facebook confirming this: “Keep in mind, our new Count Your Candles program is available to Bonus Club members all year long and allows children under 14 to pay their age for our special Birthday Treat Bear during the month of their birthday.”

This got us thinking – what other birthday freebies for kids or discounts for birthday goodies are available? Birthdays can be expensive, though it’s important to remember that whatever your budget, the thing your little one will enjoy most is making memories with you and other loved ones. If you’d like to lighten the load of the cost of your child’s first birthday or subsequent special days, we’ve rounded up some birthday offers for kids. If you know of any others that we’ve missed off the list, please do get in touch and we’ll add them to the post.

Free TV Mentions

They do say that some of the best things in life are free and if your little one is a huge fan of Peppa, Postman Pat or PJ Masks, securing them a special birthday mention before their favourite TV show will really make their day! You’ll need to be an organised parent to pull off this birthday freebie as the different children’s TV shows usually require cards and photos to be sent in a month or more in advance. And, as you’d expect, they receive many more cards than they can show. You could of course hedge your bets by sending cards to different channels. Here’s where you can find details on getting a free birthday mention.
