Brenda's Beaver Needs a Barber - The Children's Book That Had Us In Stitches!

We’ve been in need of a giggle at Bump Baby & You HQ this week – I’m sure we’ve all felt like this lately!

So I was pleased to have discovered this book – it had us in stitches.

‘Brenda’s Beaver Needs a Barber‘ as you may be able to gather from the title alone, is brimming with double entendres, which should certainly keep the grown ups entertained during story time!

The tale revolves around Brenda taking her unkempt beaver out for the day. Whilst the kids might see the story as the perfectly innocent adventure of a cheeky beaver in need of a trim, the grown ups will be trying their hardest to keep their laughs under control! You can make up your own mind on this one…

We don’t want to spoil the story, but the rest of the book basically sees Brenda’s gal pals have a little word with her about her unruly beaver… as it’s not quite as neat as theirs!

It’s certainly guaranteed to give you a giggle! I think I’ll be buying my friend a set of these at her baby shower, she’ll love them!

If you’re somehow left thinking this is a lovely little story about a lady and her unkempt semiaquatic broad-tailed rodent, then perhaps you need to hear about the other stories in the series… Some of the other titles in the series include: Spank the Monkey Lends a Hand, Suzy Likes to Look at Balls, Put Tony’s Nuts in Your Mouth!.
