Helloooooooooo, my name is Bethany Collings and some of you may know who I am but others possibly not.
I’m a 21-year-old mummy, who got married at 19 and lives in Chester, Cheshire. This is me with my daughter Phoebe (above)
As long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a mum. I wanted to have lots of babies, take them all places every week and rock the mum vibe. When I first started trying to conceive (TTC) I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and I believed my dreams of becoming a mum were never going to happen. I convinced myself that I was broken and my new husband would no longer want me, I was depressed. After lots of appointments to the gynaecologist and the fertility specialists I was prescribed Metformin, changed my diet and lost weight.
Just before my first wedding anniversary I was taking two ovulation tests a day and one pregnancy, the same thing I had done from the day I got married. But on the 10th July, just the day before our first anniversary together, I swore I saw something on my pregnancy test. It was the lightest second line I have ever seen to this day but it was in fact a positive.
My Pregnancy Tests
I am now a mummy to Phoebe who I am madly in love with. She is already 5 months old and hasn’t it gone quick?
I am looking forward to posting more stories that others can laugh to, cry to and most of all, relate to. I’m so excited to share my adventures with you all.
