2021 is the year of the ‘Staycation’ – are you planning on a UK holiday over the summer holidays?

Twycross Zoo & Hotel Break Package
Twycross Zoo is a great day out for the whole family! You could stay at the Best Western Appleby Park Hotel in Appleby Magna, which is near Tamworth in the West Midlands, 3 miles from the zoo. It is also a stones throw from Drayton Manor theme park, and in the National Forest where you can also visit places such as Conkers, Rosliston Forestry Centre, Swadlincote Ski Centre, the National Memorial Arboretum, and much more. As a local to the area, I can vouch for just how much fun you can have in the National Forest!

Chatsworth House & B&B with Dinner Stay
Chatsworth House is a breathtaking heritage attraction and is full of curiosities for children (and adults) with an interest in history. The grounds are vast, with so many opportunities for an adventure. You could also take time to explore the nearby peak district with this package – this would be great for nature-loving children!
This package will give you a night at the Derby Mickleover Hotel from the Best Western Premier Collection, and 2 tickets for Chatsworth house per room booked, with dinner on one night and bed & breakfast. This hotel has sumptuous facilities to take advantage of too!

Heath Court Cambridge Bike Explorer 2021 Package
Cambridge is a stunning part of the UK – why not take a cycling break, if you and your family enjoy long scenic bike rides? Their family rooms are big and spacious as are their bathrooms, so you’re sure to be comfortable too. Nearby are National Cycle routes 11 and 15, weaving through Suffolk and Cambridge from the hotel! You can then take quiet country roads and off-road pathways on a 22 mile ride each way from Heath Court hotel – this would be an epic day out for a sporty family!
Your package will include accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis, as well as a snack pack and route guide to take with you on your journey. Heath Court Cambridge Walk & Explore West Sussex Package
If you’re not into cycling but fancy visiting Cambridge and enjoying nature, the Walk & Explore package could be the one for your family instead. Located near to Newmarket racecourse and surrounded by beautiful scenic views, walking families would have a fantastic time with this package! Nearby, you can find plenty of local walks – Devils Dyke and the Three Churches being popular.
Your package comes with a guidebook of local walks, B&B accommodation, plus a packed lunch for your walk! This hotel is also dog friendly, so your family furry friend can tag along.

Roker (Sunderland) Cycle & Explore & hotel
The home of Bump, Baby & You, the North East coast is truly an underrated gem of the UK – this package would be great for families who enjoy bike rides on coastal paths, stunning views and breathtaking beaches, as well as friendly locals! I’ve personally stayed in this hotel for a night and can vouch for what a superb hotel the Roker Hotel is – it is full of character and charm, with the coolest decor I’ve ever seen.
Your package would offer dinner, bed and breakfast, and the hotel will also provide a packed lunch for your day of riding and can also store your bike at the hotel. Just ensure you let the reception know your arrival time in advance, and pre-book your dinner as evening dinner reservations are sought-after.

Roker Walk & Explore the North East Coast & hotel
If you’re not so much into cycling, the Roker Walk & Explore package could be perfect for your family. The hotel is right on the seafront, with breathtaking views and walks mere metres from the front door. The accommodation in this package is dinner, bed and breakfast, and the package includes a packed lunch for the day of walking. The hotel can also provide you with maps! As before, make sure you let the hotel know your arrival time and pre-book your dinner as evening reservations in the gorgeous restaurant are popular.

Mosborough Hall Hotel Cycling Package
Mosborough Hall is a stunning, historical setting, surrounded by beautiful grounds and in close proximity to the Peak District, perfect for our nature-loving families! If you love being active, this is the mini-break for you.
Your stay would include a delicious three-course dinner per adult, a full English breakfast per adult, one packed lunch per adult for your day of walking, saving your family a fortune on food for the day! There is also secure overnight storage for bikes at the hotel. The hotel can also give you advice and route maps if you’re unsure where to start on your adventure.

Mosborough Hall is seriously beautiful. Your little ones will think they’re staying overnight in a fairytale castle… how magical!
This package includes an overnight stay, a three course dinner per adult, a full English breakfast per adult, and one packed lunch per adult. North Yorkshire Rambling Package
North Yorkshire is full of gorgeous scenery, country walks and things to do for families! Why not check-in at the Croft Hotel in Darlington for 2 night Ramblers Break?
