Zara Kids have recalled one of their newborn romper products.
We know how many of you love Zara Kids for their gorgeous baby clothes! These things happen, even to the biggest and best brands, but when it does happen it always helps when a brand is transparent and honest about the issue. Zara have been great, immediately withdrawing this recalled product and issuing a recall alert alongside the gov.uk recall notice.

The specific product recalled from Zara Kids is the 'Zara Kids Newborn Ribbed Romper' with the product reference 4673/529/737. Check all labels as reference numbers should be visble. The sizes 1-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months, and 9 months-1 year are affected.

Why has this product been recalled?
Unfortunately, this clothing product presents 'a serious risk of choking due to the easy detachment of the snap buttons, which constitute small parts', according to the official recall report on the gov.uk safety alert website.
What should I do if I have this product?
Zara have asked that anyone affected gets in touch to arrange returning this romper. Their website statement is as follows;
"ZARA HOME's objective is to guarantee the maximum quality and safety of all our items. Therefore, we are committed to making consumers aware of those that have had to be recalled from sale for some reason.
We therefore inform you that the kids newborn romper with reference 4673/529/737 has been withdrawn from sale after detecting some items with some snap buttons that do not hold properly to the garment.
If you have purchased this item, in order to ensure the best quality service and as a preventive measure, we ask you to please contact us so we can manage a return and refund for the garment.
