Nuby has recalled some batches of their popular Gulp and Super Quench cups.
Many parents in our online parenting community have purchased these cups for their children, so please give this a read and share with any parents you know who may also be affected.
This product recall has been ordered as affected batches may pose a choking hazard to children using them, and the recall applies to all Incredible Gulp and Super Quench cups purchased from the Nuby UK website, and the following retailers between the dates of 01.11.21 and 14.01.22;
- Asda
- Morrisons
- Tesco
- Boots
Why are the affected batches a potential choking hazard?
In their recall statement, Nuby shared with consumers that there is a 'small chance' that the silicone straw and spout on affected Nuby cups could become damaged more easily, causing potential detachment of components and becoming a choking risk for children using the cups.
I have an affected product - what should I do?
Nuby has advised that everyone affected by this recall should stop using the recalled cups immediately for safety reasons, and they are offering a full refund for anyone who has purchased an affected cup. Fill in the online form here and the team at Nuby can assist you in getting a full refund.
