We bring to you a VERY important recall alert!

Heinz and Tesco are recalling all jars from the 7+ months Heinz By Nature range. We know lots of you use Heinz for weaning your babies, so please share this warning with other parents to ensure the message gets out.

Reason for recall:

Sharp metal fragments have been discovered in a jar that was tampered with (what sort of person would do this?!) so to be safe, Heinz and Tesco have issued a voluntary recall.

What product are affected?

According to the Food Standards Agency (FSA) “only the jars in the 7+month range and purchased from Tesco are affected”. The FSA have also said the same product and batch codes at other retail stores and in other packaging, such as in pouches, are not affected.

The following products from Tesco are;

• Heinz Cheesy Tomato Pasta Stars
• Heinz Cottage Pie
• Heinz Mango Chicken Curry
• Heinz Sweet and Sour Chicken
• Heinz Spaghetti Bolognese
• Heinz Sunday Chicken Dinner
• Heinz Pasta Bake with Tuna
• Heinz Winter Veggies and Lamb
