Nestlé has recalled a certain batch of their Milkybar Little Treats desserts.
The pots have been recalled due to the fact they have an unpleasant taste.
The following notice was issued by Nestlé on the Asda website:
Product Recall
Nestlé Milkybar Little Treats
Reason: Unpleasant Taste
Pack size: 330 g (6 x 55 g)
Use-by dates: 13/02 and 14/02
As a precautionary measure, Lactalis Néstle Chilled Dairy UK is voluntarily recalling the above product with the specific use-by dates of 13/02 and 14/02 due to a strong unpleasant salty taste caused by an ingredient that is part of the normal composition but has been overdosed in the production of these batches. There is no food safety or health risk but impact on taste can be unpleasant for consumers.
No other batches of Milkybar Little Treats are affected by this recall.
The use-by date can be found printed on the top of the pot lid.
Any consumers who have bought packs with the above use-by dates should not consume them and dispose of the contents, but return the top of the pot lid with the use-by date for a full refund to:
