John Lewis has recalled four sets of ‘My First Doll’ toys sold online and in stores since September 27th 2017!
What is the reason for the recall?
John Lewis have posted a statement explaining all on their website…
“The safety of our customers is very important to us, so as a precaution we’re recalling the following products as there is a risk part of the eye may become detached and present potential choking hazard.”
Which 4 items and batchcodes are affected?
- 785 00120 / 785 00122 My first doll, girl
- 785 00121 My first doll, boy
- 785 00124 Baby twin set
- 78500127 My first doll bumper set
The batch codes affected are 1702 and 1703 – these can be found on the barcode label on the back of the original box and the sewn in label on the doll.
I have one of the items affected – what do I do?
It is advised that you remove the toy from your child if you have a product affected by this recall.
If you are concerned and wish to return your doll, you can return it to John Lewis or a Waitrose Food & Home branch for a refund.
I hope that this helps!
