Martin Lewis has shared another savvy money-saving tip!
With grocery shopping prices biting, especially for those with large families, parents will be thankful for this quick and easy way to save money on their weekly groceries at Lidl and Asda. Martin Lewis has shared two offers that we think you should check out.
Free £5 voucher at Lidl...
Martin has shared that Lidl is giving away a huge one million £5 off vouchers to shoppers from Wednesday the 22nd of February, with the offer available through the Lidl app. The voucher can be spent until the 28th of February.
How do I get the deal?
All you need to do is download the free Lidl Plus app and spend a minimum of £25 between the 22nd and 28th of February, it's really that easy. Here's the step by step guide...
- Log in or register a new account with the Lidl Plus app from 22 February.
- Click the 'More' tab which can be found at the bottom of the app.
- Click 'Redeem code,' which should appear as the top item, and then input the code FEELGOOD.
- Your new voucher should be displayed soon afterwards in the 'Coupons' app section.
- The voucher can be used with nearly all items in store, however it does exclude alcohol, gift cards and infant formula.
- You'll need to spend £25 after any additional discounts, and the deal is limited to one coupon for every Lidl Plus account.
This deal is not available in Northern Ireland - sorry to mummies and daddies based there!
Free £5 voucher from Asda
You can only get a free £5 Asda voucher if you're new to the Asda Rewards app. Once you've done your first Asda shop logged into the Asda app (online or in-store), a £5 voucher will be added to the 'Cashpot' section of the app. This offer ends on the 28th of February, but you'll have another six months to spend your voucher with no minimum spend.
How do I get the deal?
- Sign up to the app
- Look at the offers under the 'Earn' tab, which the retailer calls and find 'Missions'
- Select 'First Scan Bonus,', do your first shop in Asda and scan your app. The £5 bonus should then appear.
We've been told to let you know that if your first shop is done online, make sure you use the same email address to log in as you use for the app to connect the accounts. You can then use your Cashpoint balance by turning them into vouchers to spend on future shops with Asda! A maximum voucher amount is £100, with there being no minimum spend. When doing your first shop in store, it's as simple as scanning the voucher in the app when you checkout.
Asda have shared that any pounds you don't use in your Cashpot which you don't convert into vouchers will expire within six months after the month they were earned in, so definitely don't forget to use them - don't lose them!
The Asda voucher cannot be used on certain items;
- Petrol
- Kiosk items
- Pharmacy
- Third-party
- Asda gift cards
- Infant formula
