Mummies… Can you imagine giving birth to sextuplets in under 10 minutes?!

I mean, it must be intense enough giving birth to one baby in such a short space of time, let alone 6!

Thelma Chiaka, a mama in Texas, has given birth to 6 babies, beating odds of one in 4.7 billion! And not only that, but all six babies were born within 10 minutes, making them an exceptionally speedy multiple delivery.

All six babies are in a stable condition in NICU, and weighed between 1 lb 12 oz to 2 lb 14 oz. The sextuplets are made up of two sets of twin boys (currently unnamed), and one set of twin girls, named Zina and Zuriel! Such sweet names, and we can’t wait to find out what the four little lads will be called. A ‘Z’ theme going on there, perhaps?

Here’s a post shared by her delivery hospital, The Women’s Hospital of Texas. The medical team looking after Thelma (led by Dr Ziad Haidar, Dr Sharmeel Khaira and Dr Israel Simchowitz), have announced that she is doing well, and so are the babies, which is fantastic news.
