On May 11th we were invited to the grand preview event for the 2 new rides at Peppa Pig World, Paultons Park.
As you can imagine we had one very excited 3 year old! In 2011 Paultons Park opened the world’s first Peppa Pig world, every year the park grows in popularity. With over 1 million guests every year, Paultons Park is one of the most popular family amusement parks in the UK.
The rides
On May 16th the 2 new rides open for the public. The Queen’s flying coach ride and Grampy Rabbit’s sailing club have been designed so they can be enjoyed by the whole family. The Queen’s flying coach ride is an unforgettable tour on a monorail above the park that has an amazing birds eye view of the other rides and attractions. The second brand new ride is Grampy Rabbit’s sailing club, this is a water ride. But don’t worry. You don’t get wet! You cruise around the base of the Queen’s castle, there is even a chance to discover pirate island. As well as 2 new rides there is also a new place to find something yummy to eat, the Queen’s kitchen, which is located inside the castle.
It isn’t just the new rides that are a big hit with visitors, Peppa Pig World has 7 other rides;
- Miss Rabbit’s helicopter flight
- Peppa’s balloon ride
- Grandpa Pig’s little train ride
- Grandpa Pig’s boat trip
- Daddy Pig’s car ride
- George’s dinosaur adventure
- Windy castle
As well as these, there are also attractions such as George’s spaceship playzone, Mr Potato’s playground and Muddy Puddles, a splash water park.

It is safe to say there is something for everyone, young and old. But not forgetting there is also the rest of Paultons Park!
Accessibility
Before visiting Peppa Pig World I was asked to check out their disabled facilities, in particular the access for wheelchair users, I was very happy to see that all the rides are accessible for children and adults with a disability. Paultons Park have either installed lifts or the ride is accessible via the exit ramp. Obviously features such as lifts, ramps and disabled toilets mean that a day out with a loved one with a disability is so much easier and more enjoyable. Well done Paultons Park!
If you have little ones that love Peppa Pig then visiting Paultons Park is a must! The park includes every character from the TV show so no matter who your children want to see they won’t be disappointed. The rides are so fun for adults as there is enough room for you to enjoy them too.
It’s amazing fun for the whole family!
